Background
Sophie Dee School of Dance is a Dance School based in Hazel Grove, Stockport and is home to over 600 Families from the Stockport area. We hold classes from the age of 18 months up to Adults in all genres!
Our classes are for students at all levels and we offer our Sophie Dee Dance Company to students who wish to take a more elite path.
The Sophie Dee Dance Company has represented England at the Dance World Cup in 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2025. We have successfully auditioned to take a full team of 64 dancers again to represent England in the Dance World Cup 2026 in Dublin.
The costs of entering a team are enormous but include choreography, rehearsals, practice competitions, entry fees, costs of filming, props, costumes, Team England uniform and travel.
The Dance World Cup is also live streamed online for a small cost, so everyone can watch it from back home!
Raffle Proposal
We will be approaching a large number of small and local businesses to purchase a raffle ticket in exchange for the chance to win the main sponsorship package for one of our 3 teams.
We aim to sell 100 tickets (maximum) for £100 each so each ticket has a 3 in 100 chance of winning. The winners of the raffle will win the main sponsorship deal for either our Mini, Children’s or Senior teams.
The sponsorship deal includes – business logo on team t-shirts and flags, business banner across all SDSD DWC social media posts (we have over 6,000 followers). This will include posts about rehearsals, warm up events and the 10 days of DWC.
Every business to purchases a ticket will receive coverage on our social media as a thank you for their support, meaning that all entries will receive some social media exposure.
Payment for all tickets should be transferred to the following account details –
SDSD Fundraising / 20-82-13 / 83239063 using the Business Name as the reference.
Payment MUST be received no later than xxxx for your entry to go into the draw which will take place on xxxx. Should business purchase multiple tickets, they will be able to sponsor more than one team should more than one ticket be drawn.
